Just before xmas alyshea asked for a pink rugby ball, we had the echo photographer to the field on training night to take soms of the kids to go with our appeal , as we couldn't get one, any way the appeal went out in november a few weeks later w e-mail from a bloke in america called Matt Godek whao had read the appeal and was going to sort out some stuff for her, the parcel arrived the week before xmas with 2 pink some pink socks t-shirts and some kit bags and stuff for the club. we couldn't beleive it.
we phoned the echo up to let them know. the reporter asked if alyshea could visit the millennium stadium on the friday before xmas to meet Roger lewis who also had a suprise for her the WRU had had a pink ball made for her and also arranged for us to have a tour of the stadium.
She then took this ball to the Gareth thas training day down the vale and had him and his friends to sign the ball for her.
then after xmas the photos were put back in the echo showing her with her ball.

last week then we had a phonecall from the welsh womens team asking if alyshea would like to be mascot for their game against italy. we went yesterday to meet the team and have her photo taken down the vale for the match day programme
