3 Peaks Ghallenge Walk
in aid of
B.E.T.H
Beyond everything there's hope

Last weekend several members from our club took part in the very exhausting UK 3 peaks challenge walk to raise money for the BETH Trust.
With Stumpy the main driver/cook/navigator the boys were able to complete the walk in a very successful time,but only Ceri Brown(10) & Dai Loyd(10) & Stumpy were able to make it back to the club for a few beers after .

Ystrad are delighted to have secured a two year kit sponsorship deal with Pontyclun based traffic management company Conemasters.
Instrumental in pulling off the deal has been keen Ystrad fan and
Conemasters QA Manager Greg Prosser, pictured with club Captain Chris Hanly along with new signings Chris Hitt, Andrew Hutchings and Gerwyn Davies, plus this year’s mascot John Watkins

Found deep in the archives of Ystrad Rugby was this rare photo of our chairman/coach supremo
Adrian"Gattland" Griffiths.

The picture is believed to be 25years old when" Ted's U9's Terriers"dominated the mini rugby scene throughout the welsh valleys!!

Move over "Juke Box Johnny Watkins"

Club captain Chris"The Voice" Hanley was a guest at the Junior Rugby Presentation Evening last friday and gave an outstanding performance to a capacity crowd at the Rhondda Sports Centre.
Monophonics frontman Bleddyn Howells was very impressed,and assured Chris there could be a possible opening in entertainment once he hangs up his boots!!!
