Ystrad Rhondda Rugby Club is excited to announce our first home game of 2026, as we host Neath RFC on Saturday, 10th January 2026. To mark the occasion, we’re opening the day with a special pre-match lunch and a very special guest speaker.

Pre-Match Lunch

Join us downstairs in the club from 11:30am for a 12pm start for a one-course pre-game lunch, priced at just £20 per head. Your ticket also includes one complimentary drink — the perfect way to kick off an afternoon of top-class rugby and great company.

Guest Speaker: Derek Bevan

We’re delighted to welcome Derek Bevan as our guest speaker. Derek is one of the most experienced and admired referees in rugby history, and we’re thrilled to have him share his stories and insights from a lifetime in the game.

Ystrad Rhondda vs Neath RFC

Following lunch, attention turns to the field as Ystrad Rhondda take on the legendary Neath RFC in what promises to be an exciting and hard-fought encounter to open the new year. Expect passion, pride, and plenty of great rugby as both sides look to make a strong start to 2026.
