Bleddyn started off as a flanker in the youth team before progressing to the 1st XV where he was identified for having the skills to make a transition to centre. He quickly grew into the role, combining his power with balanced running and effective distribution. After several seasons, Bleddyn got a move into the Welsh Premiership, appearing for both Llanelli RFC and Cardiff RFC. A return to the club was on the cards until COVID postponed the season, and in that time Bleddyn relocated to the South of England.
